​EDWARD DENNISTON  has been making poems for a long time and is currently dabbling in other genres. He was born in Longford, Ireland in 1956. He attended Trinity College Dublin and has lived in Waterford since 1980. In 2014 he retired from teaching English and Drama at Newtown School, Waterford, Ireland. Edward has facilitated creative writing workshops and drama workshops for both young adults and adults and also given teacher in-service in these areas. 
His most recent collection is For Crying Out Loud (Salmon Poetry, 2017). In 2018 Edward collaborated with Irish composer Eric Sweeney to produce Hospital Voices, a choir work in celebration of 25 years of Waterford Healing Arts Trust.
